The general objective of the program is the strengthening of airport security to the highest levels to meet new international standards and to capture the economic benefits flowing from access to world markets. Specifically, the TC will: (i) facilitate the training of an adequate number of staff at the NAA and CAD in the latest security procedures, systems and equipment to meet international standards; (ii) Develop comprehensive contingency plans for the CAD to deal with aviation security breaches and emergencies (iii) Strengthen the regulatory capabilities of the CAD in airport security(v) Create an effective and efficient security team within the CAD and the NAA and other related government agencies to meet new international security norms and standards
